Pitch Two

Privacy notice

Last updated 14 October 2026.

This page explains what personal data Pitch Two collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we hold your email address and your subscription details. We never see your match footage — processing happens entirely in your browser, on your own device, and nothing about the video itself (not the file, not a single frame, not even the filename) is ever sent to us. That is true even for footage of children's matches: it never leaves the device it was opened on.

What we collect, and why

  • Your email address — to create your account, send receipts, and contact you about your subscription. Necessary to provide the service you've signed up for.
  • Your subscription details — your plan (monthly or annual), its status, and renewal date, so we know what you're entitled to. Necessary to provide the service.
  • Basic technical error logs — if something breaks, we may briefly see technical details of the failure (such as which page or request failed) to help us fix it. We strip out anything that looks like an email address, password or card number before it is ever logged — see "who else sees it" below. In our legitimate interest to keep the service working.

What we don't collect

We never receive your match video, a single frame of it, or even its filename. All of Pitch Two's video processing — detecting players and the ball, tracking the game, producing clips — happens inside your own browser, using your own device's hardware.

Payment details

We never see or store your card number. When you subscribe, Stripe (our payment processor) takes your card details on their own secure page — we only ever receive a reference confirming you're a paying customer, never the card itself.

Who else sees it

We share the minimum data needed with a small number of specialist companies who help us run Pitch Two, and none of them may use it for their own purposes:

  • Stripe — processes your payment and billing.
  • Cloudflare — hosts this website and keeps it running and secure.
  • Neon — hosts the database holding your email and subscription record.
  • Resend — sends the account emails that come from Pitch Two: the one-time link to set your password when your club is invited, and the link to reset it if you ask. It receives your email address and the wording of that one email — never your password, never a card detail, never your match video.
  • Sentry — tells us when something has gone wrong in the code. It never receives your email, password or card details — those are stripped out before anything is sent, and error reports are kept only briefly (typically no more than 90 days), not indefinitely.

Your rights

Because you're in the UK, UK GDPR gives you rights over your personal data: to see what we hold, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or ask us to hand it over in a portable format. Email hello@pitchtwo.co.uk and we'll deal with it within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

How long we keep it

While you're a paying (or trialling) customer, we keep your account and subscription data to run the service. After you cancel, our policy is to keep basic billing records for up to six years, because that's what UK tax law requires of us, then delete them. That deletion isn't an automatic process yet — no account is anywhere near six years old, so it hasn't needed to be — and we'll build it before any record reaches that age.

Changes to this notice

If what we hold or why changes, we'll update this page and, for anything significant, email you.
